A short inversion sequence for body awareness, balance, core while cultivating blood flow. In Fly High Yoga, one of my favorite peak poses is the up-side-down dancers pose. I like to syncronize with everyone as we move in unison, to yoke as meaning yoga suggests. In this sequence, we get an inner thigh, upper thigh and quad stretch. We focus on internally rotating the femur to find the alignment best suited for each body. With an intense backbend to allow the hands to reach for the feet. With externally rotated shoulders to fully shine our heart and open the throat to release any blockages. It's a magnificent pose that is addictive every time you go into the backward entry inversion.
