A brief life story.. How Philippines helped me after 17 years of pain..

A brief life story.. How Philippines helped me after 17 years of pain.. The story about my lifelong injury I've never spoken about.. This was my personal victory to overcome the pain it has followed me..

14 years old I had a career breaking injury which kept me from having surgery for 3 years because I was still growing. I was not able to walk for almost a year, 3 years of barely walking and no running. In order to have the surgery my bones would have to complete their growth and length. 17 year old I finally had the surgery and today I have a artificial ligament and screws in my legs holding the knee together. This devastating injury ruined my sports career and lifelong adventure spirit of mountains and skiing. 5 years later after the accident I was able to start walk properly and run again. Ever since then each step I take is painful, even today..

Every day I challenge myself to keep going, exploring, adventuring and moving.. As I was choosing my studies at young age I had to pick something that I would be sitting all day every day. So I did, worked and studied on computers.. Worked in that field.. But after 10 years I felt I was getting better and slowly I started traveling again which lead ultimately to what I'm doing today. NEVER give up.

The story is of course much more detailed and longer to write here.. But perhaps a brief touch of my life past and today. Mount Apo certainly helped me overcome this lifelong injury.

Special thanks to for assisting me with the hike and helping with filming it.
