Workshop17 CEO Paul Keursten On Fostering An Environment For Entrepreneurs To Grow

Workshop17 CEO Paul Keursten On Fostering An Environment For Entrepreneurs To Grow Paul Keursten is the CEO of Workshop17, an exciting hub and co-working space that exists to accelerate innovation and entrepreneurship for a positive change. Workshop17 has been an official partner and host of Heavy Chef events for at least two years now.

Born in the Netherlands to a family of teachers, Paul was always destined to create an environment where people can flourish. Instead of becoming a teacher though, he took the entrepreneurial path and figured out a way to create spaces in which people not only motivate themselves to learn but others too. Workshop17 is this next iteration of the learning environment - a physical environment where learning and innovation takes place organically and almost by accident. Members are able to flourish through learning, to be inspired, get input from other people and share their knowledge to create something of value to all. A truly inclusive place, anyone who wants to create something meaningful and new is welcome at Workshop17, which can be found a an increasing number of locations across the country.

Paul speaks to Heavy Chef CEO Fred Roed about where the idea for Workshop 17 came from and shares his feelings about the current entrepreneurial landscape in South Africa.
