Veterans say equine therapy is helping them cope with PTSD and anxiety | ABC News Australia's defence forces have a long tradition of working with horses but not like this.

Personnel and war veterans are increasingly using horses to treat conditions like PTSD and anxiety.

There's not much data that supports the benefits of equine therapy, but the participants of the program say it's making a real difference to how they manage their emotions and integrate back into society.
