Stand out fit in | {GLMV} | Gacha Life Music Video

Oof I haven’t uploaded a real video in a while....

Story:
Grayson (one at the very beginning)is new to (Gacha?) School and sees some people from Gacha School while walking there so goes to say hi. They run away from him when he closes his eyes and he gets sad and confused at why. He expects it’s because he is ‘ugly’ and they are ‘beautiful’ (especially Annie, the blondie, because she is a well known model)

Grayson’s mother thinks he is useless so forces him to do different things, such as cleaning and drawing/colouring, but he can’t do them right and gets yelled at by his mum. He imagines throwing a broom at her, but then snaps back into reality and sighs to himself silently.

Then he meets Oli, (the black-haired boy) and falls in love with him, like love at first sight in a fairytale.

Chorus:

‘Big boys don’t cry’

Grayson after being bullied (this was a few years before the song) cries to his mother, and his a rather big scar on his forehead. Instead of helping him, she gets annoyed and says things like ‘It’s not my problem.’

‘Shoot low, aim high’

Oli’s father is trying to teach him how to shoot. He works for the army and wants Oli to follow his ruthless nature and end up like him. Oli, though is too ‘weak’ to pursue this job and would rather become a Ver or Doctor, because he wants to help people not hurt them

‘Eat up, Stay thin’

The ‘bully boy’ (Brandon) had brought a donut to eat, to fill up the empty hole in his heart, but thought he was too fat to do so, so he refused to eat it. He developed a small eating disorder, until he met Grayson and his friends.’

‘Stand out’

Be yourself, be beautiful, love yourself

‘Fit in’

Ignore what you like, be like the others.

‘Good girls don’t fight’

Stella (eyepatched one) is fighting an unknown person, and winning by a lot.

‘Be you’

Betsy in an outfit she likes (btw, she OPTIONALLY wears makeup and dresses, because she likes it)

‘Dress right’

Annie telling Betsy what she’s been told her whole life.
‘Be perfect and then you will be loved’

‘White face, tanned skin’

Annie applying makeup to her face.

‘Stand out’

Annie’s reflection (basically her feelings she tries to ignore) telling her to be different and not follow the crowd.

‘Fit in’

Annie quoting her father

Annie pretends she doesn’t care, but deep inside she does. All her ‘friends’ have ditched her for the non-bullies. Only Grayson notices and comforts her.

Chorus is the same.

Annie apologises for what she’s done.
She then cuts her hair and leaves her dad for good, happily.
Then everyone is happy and she gets with Betsy.

Moral of the story: be yourself and love yourself!
