I wanted to share with mommies my rough journey with breast-feeding with my left nipple. This is an example of how a normal nipple looks after a bad infection has healed where the skin is still peeling off and how it looks when it’s raw and irritated after a pump. I was mistaken this for a yeast infection called thrush when it was indeed just normal after being seen by several doctors who informed me this is just a very raw irritated nipple after it healed from a really bad infection and after pumping.
