A special shout out to a Birmingham man who is paying it forward. Jermale Sullivan rewards kids with shoes and money. He's even helped a family with $500 worth of groceries. All kids have to do is make the honor roll or have perfect attendance at school. Sullivan makes the announcements twice a year on Facebook and all parents have to do is post the kids' report card in the comment section. The children are chosen at random and it's all personally funded by him. Sullivan says it's a project he's been doing for the past five years which he says makes him feel good.
