1MDB scandal: US Justice Department agrees on $1 billion settlement deal with Jho Low

The US Justice Department has struck a deal with Malaysian financier Jho Low to recoup
around $1 billion in funds allegedly looted from Malaysian state investment fund 1MDB.
Low will give up $700 million worth of assets, including a private jet and luxury properties
in the US and UK. More than $250 million in other assets had been previously forfeited.
