Nadim Houry of the think tank Arab Reform Initiative shares his analysis of Turkey's offensive in northern Syria. "Of course the US is to blame", he tells us, referring to the sudden withdrawal of US troops from the region. But he says he also blames the Europeans, including France. Houry says negotiations should have begun months ago to come up with an organised transition for the region in order to prevent the current chaos.
