SME forced to close after Asian retailers forged the company’s designs and mass-produced them JADE, a small to medium enterprise operating out of Madang has been forced to close its doors after losing business.

Jade is a women's wear and accessories company, famous for selling and designing provincial singlets, however, many of its designs have been copied, mass-produced and resold in Asian shops.

On Wednesday, Jade made an official announcement on social media to its customers of its decision to stop operations.
