No Keycard Required, Demonstration Of Hilton Digital Key With VoiceOver On iOS

No Keycard Required, Demonstration Of Hilton Digital Key With VoiceOver On iOS In 2015, Hilton introduced Digital Key, a feature that allows Hilton Honors members to use their smartphone as a hotel room key. How does it work with VoiceOver on iOS? I wondered that too, but it turns out that it works quite nicely. I give a very quick demo in this video, recorded at the Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport, ME in October 2019.
A few notes:
1. To use Digital Key, you must be a Hilton Honors Member.
2. You must book directly with Hilton.
3. You can request Digital Key the day before your trip or at any time during your stay.
How to use it:
1. Request it in the app.
2. Once you are alerted that your key is ready, select the Digital Key option in the app.
3. Stand close to your door and when you see Tap To Unlock, select it.
4. Your phone will vibrate and the lock should click open.
5. You may be asked if you want to hide your room number. If you do so, you can give the room another name. That's What I did in the video.
Digital Key is an awesome feature, and it works quite well with VoiceOver. If you enjoyed this and would like to see more Hilton Honors App features, let me know down in the comments and I will see what I can do. Happy traveling.
