Janie's Make-A-Wish Alumni Journey - Make-A-Wish Illinois

After experiencing the power of a wish in 1993, wish alumni Janie has helped to shape Make-A-Wish Illinois' impact on countless wish children as a staff member. Now serving as the Alumni Manager, Janie is working to make sure wish alumni and their families continue to stay involved with Make-A-Wish.

It isn't a last wish; it's an everlasting one. If you know a child with a critical illness who hasn't received a wish, do your part.


Tens of thousands of volunteers, donors and supporters advance the Make-A-Wish® vision to grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a critical illness. In the United States and its territories, on average, a wish is granted every 34 minutes. We believe a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us and inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.
