Last year, the world was shocked by the revelations of data analysis firm Cambridge Analytica having illegally harvested and exploited the data of millions of Facebook users. The man behind the revelation was whistleblower Christopher Wylie, former director of research for the company, which didn’t survive the scandal. He speaks to Hari Sreenivasan about data crime and its dangers to democracy.
