1. Big and baggy bombers — it shouldn’t be too bulky, and it should fit you right (not like a big puffy marshmallow). Size down, and remember that leather will stretch.
2. Linty, dusty, pet hair peacoats — use a lint roller each & every time you wear one
3. Button-up shirts worn untucked that are too long — they shouldn’t cover your crotch
4. Neon colors — it’s nasty and not stylish
5. Oversized and bulky watches — clunky and ugly watches are not stylish
6. Bulging backpacks — yes, they are functional but no they are not stylish. Opt for a crossbody bag or briefcase instead.
7. Too many patterns in one outfit — two is the magic number. With a patterned suit, the tie can have a pattern as long as the pocket square and shirt are solid.
8. Too many buttons — suits should have 2 buttons and are outdated if they have 1 or 3 buttons
9. Too much man cleavage — mid-pec is the limit
10. Wearing earphones when having a conversation — you look rude like you’re not paying attention
