Princess Charlotte arrives for her first day at school with Prince William and Kate Middleton

Princess Charlotte grinned as she arrived for her first day of school today, clutching mum Kate Middleton's hand.

The four-year-old royal starts at St Thomas' in Battersea, South London, this morning - appearing excited as she arrived with her big brother Prince George and dad Prince William.
