Operating system is the heart of any computer system that manages all the hardware as well as the software parts.The
popularity of the laptop or smartphones that we are seeing today is for this operating system.Before inventions of the
operating system(OS) a few people were able to operate the computer system,because for doing a small task on computer
it is required to write and run a program.This was not convenient and time efficient.Thats why OS is borned.
Operating System are of different types such as Windows OS,Mac OS of Apple company,Linux and DOS are operating system.
Not only in the Computer systems but also in our smart phones we are using the Operating System(OS) such as Android
Oreo kitkat and lollipop.
Operating system is the manager of the system which manages memory,processes,CPU and other hardware parts of the computer.
It is a system software that located in such a place that normal users can not find it and disturb it.All other application
software asks to the OS to provide the necessary resources to run them and the OS provides the resources for all other
applications.
