Democracy in peril, says Sonia in Congress meet sans Rahul Gandhi

Interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi chaired a party meeting on Thursday. The meeting was held at the party headquarters in New Delhi. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh attended the meeting where the ongoing economic slowdown was discussed. Interestingly, former Congress president Rahul Gandhi was not present. Party leader RPN Singh said that only General Secretaries, Pradesh Congress Committee and Congress Legislature Party members had been invited.
