It was early evening. Hawk and the team had just finished a training session with Sensai Kreese and were about to head home. As he was about to leave Kreese called to him from the office.
‘Hawk!
‘Yes sensai?’ Hawk stood straight to attention.
Kreese came over slowly, his expression serious.
‘What are we doing about the Miguel situation?’
‘We can only hope he gets better sensai, were going to visit him this after –‘ Hawk began.
‘Im not talking about his medical condition,’ Kreesed snapped. ‘I’m talking about Robbie Keene. We have unfinished business.’
Hawk turned and looked directly Kreese, beginning to understand. His face hardened at the thought of Robbie.
‘What do you want to me to do Sensai?’
‘What do we normally do here at Cobra Kai … finish him of course,’ Kreese folded his arms, ‘Diaz is our best student, he may be crippled for life because of the weakness of Sensai Lawrence’s training. Those kids in the school saw weakness during that fight. That is NOT what Cobra Kai is about. Remember what I told you about the fight not being over until you decide. We need to restore the honour of this dojo. Agree?’
‘Yes Sensai!’
‘You’ve fought him before havent you? In the tournament? Who won that fight? You or him?’
Hawk didn’t answer.
‘And the second time at the mall?’
Hawks face flushed and he scowled, ‘He got lucky –‘
‘There is no luck in combat,’ Kreese scowled, ‘Finish the job and you are not to come back to this dojo until its done.’
‘Yes Sensai,’
‘Take some of the team with you,’
‘I’ll go with him,’ Tory had been listening nearby and came over the stand next to Hawk. Hawk nodded in agreement.
Kreese smiled slightly. ‘Dismissed.’
