New tariffs will create obstacles for trade consultations

China says it hopes the U.S. will show determination and perseverance in finding a solution to the dispute. The comment came after Washington said there is still a long way to go before reaching an agreement. Also, U.S. President Donald Trump said he may impose tariffs on another 325 billion U.S. dollars worth of Chinese goods if necessary.
