Cigna refuses authorization of life sustaining medication for 15-year-old Coloradan.

Cigna has been denying authorization for our 15-year old daughter's Hizentra prescription, because her doctor at Johns Hopkins finds it necessary to increase her dose. I'm reaching out to the President of CIgna, David Cordani, to see if he can finally break me out of the "prescription purgatory." This medicine is life sustaining and mobility inducing for my child, who is battling the super rare disease, CIDP, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy. 30 days have passed since she was supposed to increase her dose and Cigna still refuses to fill the entire prescription. To date they will on'y authorize 2 moire months of medication.
